Dynamic phase transition theory

چکیده

Thermodynamic conventions suffer from describing dynamical distinctions, especially when the structural and energetic changes induced by rare events are insignificant. By using ensemble theory in trajectory space, we present a statistical approach to address this problem. Rather than spatial particle-particle interaction which dominates thermodynamics, temporal correlation of dynamics. The zeros dynamic partition function mark phase transitions space-time, i.e., transition (DPT), as Yang Lee formulate traditional transitions, hence determine phases on both sides zeros. Analogous role temperature (pressure) thermal (mechanical) potential, interpret controlling variable DPT, field, potential. These findings offer possibility towards unified picture transition.

Dynamic Ginzburg-Landau Theory for the Liquid-Solid Phase Transition

The anisotropv of the probability distribution function for the unit vector joining two nearest neighbour atoms is characterized by tensorial order parameters. For cubic symmetry, the most relevant tensor is of rank 4. Starting from an ansatz for the dependence of the (specific) internal energy, volume and entropy; the entropy production is calculated which is caused by a temporial change of th...

The Dynamic Phase Transition for Decoding Algorithms

The state-of-the-art error correcting codes are based on large random constructions (random graphs, random permutations, . . . ) and are decoded by linear-time iterative algorithms. Because of these features, they are remarkable examples of diluted mean-field spin glasses, both from the static and from the dynamic points of view. We analyze the behavior of decoding algorithms using the mapping ...

Phase Transition in Extended Electroweak Theory

The phase transition in the Weinberg-Salam-Glashow (GSW) electroweak theory extended by the majoron and dilaton field is considered. The possibility of the boson condensation in the extreme conditions in the standard electroweak theory is shown. The first order phase transition induces by the radiative corrections (the Coleman-Weinberg potential) in the presence of matter was considered. Due to...

Chiral phase transition from string theory.

The low energy dynamics of a certain D-brane configuration in string theory is described at weak t'Hooft coupling by a nonlocal version of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. We study this system at finite temperature and strong t'Hooft coupling, using the string theory dual. We show that for sufficiently low temperatures chiral symmetry is broken, while for temperatures larger then the critical valu...
